Excellent Exfoliators

Exfoliators are important for removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores to allow the skin to breath, renew itself and remain blemish free. Unclogged pores are also better able to absorb any topical treatments and moisturisers without leaving the product sitting on top of the skin to collect dirt and grime.

Natural Exfoliant
You will need: 1 tablespoon of barley powder ½ lime juice 1 tablespoon honey
Procedure: Mix 1 table spoon of barley with ½ teaspoon of lime. Mix thoroughly and add 1 tablespoon of honey. Mix it well until it appears creamy. Apply the mixture on the face and neck and leave it for about 20 minutes. Rinse face and neck with lukewarm water. Repeat this process daily and achieve a good result.

Oatmeal & Yogurt
Mix one small tub of yogurt with 3 tblspn of oatmeat.
Take a small amount into your fingertips and start rubbing in a circular motion on face. Leave on for 5 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
Store the rest in the fridge covered for 2 days. Use daily until product is used up. This is a very gentle exfoliator.

Bi Carb & Honey scrub
This is to be used sparingly as Bi Carb can be extremely drying. Use only on oily skin or ruddy, bumpy skin needing a lift.

1tblspn Bi Carb Soda
2 Tblspns Honey

Mix togeather and rub in circular motions on a wet face. Taking care on inflamed areas and DO NOT put near the eyes!
Rinse off in warm water and moisturise immediately. Use once a week on very oily skin for 1 month then have a break.

Avacado & Egg
Take one avacado scoop out insides into a bowl. Add 1 full egg and mash. Apply to a damp face and leave on for 10 minutes.
Rinse well.
